Revisions to the second edition of the cotton industry's Best Management Practices Manual have been made with an emphasis on improving the useability of the document.

For our industry to have a more secure future, free of further restrictive government legislation, we need to have all growers operating their farms at a high management standard.

The second edition of the BMP Manual now includes new sections on the storage and handling of pesticides, dryland specific issues and farm hygiene.

Objective of the project To deliver a BMP implementation program that leads to attainment of the industry commitment of having 100% of cotton growers audit ready by June 31st 2001.
